PANews reported on May 14 that according to Decrypt, Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, issued an "open recruitment invitation" to former employees of the "Department of Government Efficiency" (DOGE) on social platforms, providing an accelerated recruitment channel. This move stems from a popular FOX News interview clip, in which former DOGE member and Harvard dropout Ethan Shaotran talked about the social exclusion he encountered due to his work in the agency. Armstrong said that he welcomes these technical talents who have served the country to "join Coinbase next to create a more efficient financial system." The agency was founded by the Trump administration with the goal of cutting spending and promoting government efficiency, and Elon Musk also participated in the leadership.
