CME Group’s average daily trading volume of crypto futures increased by 129% in April, with Ethereum futures trading volume reaching 14,000 contracts per day

PANews reported on May 3 that according to PRNewswire, the derivatives market CME (CME) released market statistics for April. The average daily trading volume (ADV) of its platform futures contracts was 35.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 36%, of which the average daily trading volume of cryptocurrency futures increased by 129%, mainly including:

1. Average daily volume of micro bitcoin futures contracts increased by 115% to 78,000 contracts.

2. The average daily trading volume of micro Ethereum futures contracts increased by 165% to 63,000 contracts;

3. The average daily trading volume of Ethereum futures contracts increased by 239% to 14,000 contracts.
