BlackRock's head of U.S. equity ETFs said in a CNBC interview that digital asset ETFs are creating a wave of capital inflows around the world.
He revealed that BlackRock's iShares ETF business set records in both the first half of this year and the third quarter, and that "ETF inflows are exploding globally." Among the major capital flows entering the fourth quarter, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs ranked among the top five, while traditional index funds such as SPY (S&P 500 ETF) recorded net outflows of over $6 billion.
He pointed out that the recent compliance opening of U.S. financial platforms has enabled investment advisors to directly purchase and allocate crypto asset ETFs, which will greatly increase the availability of digital assets.
