Competition Background
As a crucial infrastructure in the digital economy era, blockchain technology is rapidly integrating with cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and privacy-preserving computing, driving the digital transformation of industries and the transformation of the trust economy. The 2025 "Datacom Chain Valley" Cup, the 7th Yangtze River Delta Blockchain Application Innovation Competition, part of the 2025 "Creation in Shanghai" International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition organized by social organizations, is themed "New Quality Drives, Connecting the Future." It aims to leverage the key role of blockchain technology as a new type of productive force, focusing on data factor circulation, Web 3.0, and smart industry integration. It aims to identify innovative, applicable, and commercially promising blockchain solutions, promote data empowerment, and jointly drive the digital economy toward a new stage of high-quality development.
During the preliminary round, the competition received 310 entries, covering cutting-edge fields such as government, finance, healthcare, energy, culture, Web 3.0, and RWA. A jury comprised of leading experts from government, industry, academia, research, and application sectors conducted a comprehensive review of the projects, focusing on technical analysis, application prospects, business models, team structure, and risk assessment. After rigorous screening and intense competition in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, 38 top teams and individuals emerged as winners, advancing to the finals!
