PANews reported on September 10th that cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced the expansion of its tokenized stock platform, xStocks, to the European Union, allowing investors to trade tokenized US stocks and ETFs via blockchain. Developed in collaboration with Swiss fintech firm Backed, xStocks runs on the Solana blockchain, offering low-cost, fast transactions. It also plans to support BEP-20 and the Ethereum mainnet to enhance integration with the DeFi ecosystem.
