PANews reported on October 22nd that, according to Bloomberg, the UK financial regulator has filed lawsuits against multiple entities under the crypto exchange HTX. The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) filed the Financial and Regulatory Services lawsuit in the High Court of Justice in London on Tuesday—further details have not yet been released. Previously, the FCA had warned potential clients against using the platform. In an emailed statement, the FCA stated: "The FCA has filed civil proceedings in the High Court against the global crypto exchange HTX for violating the UK financial promotion regime and illegally promoting crypto asset services to UK consumers. This action reflects our commitment to protecting consumers and maintaining the integrity of the UK financial markets."
