The chairman of the U.S. House Agriculture Committee consulted with the acting chairman of the CFTC to prepare for new crypto regulations.

PANews reported on November 1st that, according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn "GT" Thompson met with CFTC Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham on Thursday to discuss how the regulator is preparing for expanding cryptocurrency regulation and developing new rules next year, with the market structure bill expected to pass. Caroline D. Pham met with Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Senator John Boozman last week on similar matters.

According to previous reports , the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee is about to release a bipartisan draft bill concerning the structure of the cryptocurrency market.
