PANews reported on November 3rd that OKX's public chain X Layer announced today the official introduction of CodeNut Pay, a next-generation Agent infrastructure platform, as one of the first X402 protocol Facilitators, providing developers with native encrypted payment capabilities that offer zero-configuration and sub-second settlement. This marks a significant step for X Layer in the AI Agent Economy field and opens a new channel for the commercialization of Web3 applications.
According to official disclosures, CodeNut Pay has been launched at facilitator.codenut.ai/xlayer/. Developers only need to call a single API endpoint to integrate X402 standard payment functionality into DApps or AI agents, achieving a "plug-and-play" on-chain settlement experience. X Layer stated that it will continue to introduce more Facilitator nodes in the coming months to build a low-cost, high-throughput encrypted payment network that supports AI scenarios, further consolidating its ecosystem barriers under its positioning as a "new money chain".
