PANews reported on November 5th that SoftBank and OpenAI have launched a joint venture, "SB OAI Japan." The joint venture with OpenAI is expected to exclusively promote Crystal Intelligence in Japan, with a planned IPO in 2026. Sam Altman stated that this joint venture with SoftBank is an important step that will accelerate their vision of bringing advanced artificial intelligence to some of the world's most influential companies, starting in Japan.
