PANews reported on May 14 that according to official news, Circle announced that native USDC is now available on the Sonic chain, completing the transition from bridged USDC to native USDC. Before the upgrade, the supply of bridged USDC on Sonic reached 500 million. After the upgrade, CCTP V2 was launched and Hooks were introduced to support automated operations.
