HIVE acquired 32.5 acres of land in Canada for $1.7 million to expand its AI data center.

PANews reported on November 4th that, according to The Block , Nasdaq- listed HIVE Digital Technologies announced the purchase of 32.5 acres of land in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada, for approximately $ 1.7 million to build a renewable energy-driven data center campus. The plan is to deploy over 25,000 GPUs and create its first Tier III+ high-reliability data center in Atlantic Canada. HIVE stated it is shifting from Bitcoin mining to AI/HPC hosting, utilizing hydroelectric power and existing facilities to serve " hyperscalers . "
