PANews reported on December 9 that Senator Tim Scott, a senior member of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, issued a statement opposing the upcoming review of the Biden administration's candidate nominations on December 11. He believes that the Democrats' last-minute push for President Biden's candidate nominations, including the re-election of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Caroline Crenshaw, is a "clear attempt to hinder President Trump's agenda." Scott emphasized that the American people have already made their attitude towards the economic agenda clear in the November 6 election and called for an end to related rule-making activities.

It was reported this morning that Coinbase CEO called for the removal of US SEC Commissioner Crenshaw, claiming that he had obstructed the Bitcoin ETF .
