Umbra partners with Streamflow to launch privacy token ownership feature

PANews reported on May 27th that, according to The Block, Solana's privacy layer Umbra has partnered with token distribution platform Streamflow to launch a privacy token vesting feature, allowing projects to unlock and distribute tokens on a large scale in a confidential manner. Powered by the Arcium cryptographic execution engine, this feature allows Streamflow clients to maintain the privacy of actual token transfers while preserving the platform's time locks, price conditions, and other distribution mechanisms. Data shows that approximately $97 billion worth of tokens were released through unlocking and distribution programs in 2025 alone, almost all of which were public and traceable. Both parties stated that this move aims to reduce the risks of front-running, surveillance, and information asymmetry arising from complete on-chain transparency during the token unlocking process.
