PANews reported on April 22 that Gate hosted an institutional exchange event in Hong Kong titled "Institutional Circle: AI Reshaping Crypto Liquidity & Market Access," bringing together founders and business leaders from institutions across the Asia-Pacific region to focus on the topic of "AI Reshaping Crypto Liquidity and Market Structure," sharing their judgments on industry evolution and market structure changes from a practical perspective.
At the event, Addis Hu, Global Head of Institutional Accounts at Gate.co.uk, delivered the opening address and a keynote speech, sharing insights on the changes in liquidity structure and the evolution of market access methods in the context of deepening institutional participation. He pointed out that technology is accelerating the reshaping of trading efficiency and market connectivity models. Ethan Hui, Senior Regional Business Development Manager at AWS, discussed the role of cloud computing and technological capabilities in supporting the expansion of the crypto market from an infrastructure perspective.
The participants generally agreed that, driven by technological advancements and institutional demand, the crypto market is gradually moving from an early transaction-driven stage to a structured development stage centered on liquidity management and diversified market access, with institutions continuously increasing their participation depth and allocation capabilities.
