Pakistan's foreign minister urged the US and Iran to extend the ceasefire agreement.

PANews reported on April 21 that Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar met with Natalie Baker, an official from the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan. The two exchanged views on recent regional developments. Dar emphasized that dialogue and diplomacy are the only way to regional peace and urged the U.S. and Iran to extend the ceasefire agreement.

According to the Associated Press, the Pakistan-led mediators have confirmed that U.S. Vice President Vance and the Iranian parliament speaker will arrive in Islamabad early Wednesday morning local time.
