A whale profited 400 ETH by using leverage to go long on ETH.

PANews reported on April 18 that, according to on-chain analyst Ember, a whale sold 12,400 ETH that it had leveraged to go long, making a profit of 400 ETH (US$950,000).

In February, this whale borrowed 28 million USDT from Aave to buy 12,802 ETH at an average price of $2,187. In recent days, after the ETH price rose, it sold 12,402 ETH, converting them into 28.16 million USDT to repay the loan, at an average selling price of $2,271. The whale thus made a profit of 400 ETH by borrowing to buy 12,802 ETH and selling 12,402 ETH to repay the loan.
