PANews reported on April 3 that, according to official sources, blockchain security firm SlowMist recently released a security assessment report, conducting a special audit of OKX Wallet. The results showed that in the audited version, no sensitive information such as private keys or mnemonic phrases were found to be transmitted to external servers, and no risk of sensitive data leakage was detected overall.
The assessment focused on whether OKX Wallet had any issues with the external transmission of private keys and mnemonic phrases. The results showed that all core information was processed locally. The current method of handling private keys and mnemonic phrases has become central to wallet security, and these audit results provide users with a more direct security reference.
