PANews reported on March 23 that Iran's Tasnim News Agency, citing an Iranian official, stated that the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its pre-war state, and the energy market will remain unstable. The official added that no negotiations are currently underway with the United States. Tasnim News Agency also reported that, facing pressure from financial markets, US President Trump abandoned plans to attack key Iranian infrastructure and warned that Tehran will continue to take self-defense measures until a deterrent effect is achieved.
