PANews reported on March 19 that U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessenter stated: "We will not attack Iran's energy infrastructure. We allow Iranian oil to continue to be shipped out of the Gulf. There are approximately 130 million barrels of Iranian crude oil on the surface. We will use Iranian oil to lower oil prices."
